May 6 First Newsletter for Vision Learning Center of Champions Mailing Out
I am very excited to report that our first newsletter is mailing out this next week. If you live in a 5 mile radius of our office, you should get a copy in the mail. It talks about important information about vision screenings, vision developmental milestones, and includes an at risk checklist for vision related learning problems. If you don't, you can view a .pdf version of it below.

May 18 Scheduled Opening of Vision Learning Center of Champions
The walls are up and almost ready to be painted! We have been working hard to get the new office ready! If you would like to receive an information packet, email me!
jun 6 FREE School Age Vision Screening Scheduled First Saturday of June!
Do you want to know if your child or someone you know is at risk for having vision related learning problems? Have them screened! Our vision screenings go beyond checking if you see clearly in the distance. We screen some of the main visual skills to see if it is affecting academic performance.
You do need to reserve a spot, so call our office at 832-592-9650. If it is before May 18th, leave a message and we will get back to you.

About Me
Born and mostly raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking a turn in California after graduating from Optometry School in Oregon, I have settled down in Northwest Houston, Texas, in a town called Spring. I never thought I would call myself a southerner if you asked me even 5 years ago, but my family and I love it here (aside from the mosquitoes and my first hurricane) and we are here to stay. -read more on my blog-
